The main reservoir is not open to the public but the pond to the north provides very easy access and viewing.
Attractions St. Saviour
Waterfowl are always present, particularly during the autumn and winter. Common visitors include mallard, tufted duck, pochard, teal and shoveler. Grey herons drop in frequently and if your luck is in you could see kingfishers.
In early summer look for, and listen to, the many woodland songbirds that inhabit the surrounding trees and shrubs. Watch too for swallows and dragonflies.
During late summer, when water levels are low, grey plover redshank and other wading birds can be seen.
